Raji House is a weekend out-of-home respite care program for children and teens with developmental disabilities. They share fun social experiences while their parents enjoy a break. It is the only program of its kind on the San Francisco Peninsula.
At Raji House, children enjoy the following activities:
  • Arts & crafts
  • Music & movement
  • Reading time
  • Outdoor games
  • Field trips

The Raji House program is held in a comfortable and attractive four-bedroom home at 1401 Palm Drive, Burlingame.

Service hours are:
  • Overnight Weekend Stays: 5:00pm Friday to 5:00pm Sunday
  • Weekend Daytime-Only Stays: 9:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday or Sunday

Raji House serves children ages six through 19 years old. The site can accommodate six for overnights and up to 12 total during daytime hours. Regional centers fund services for children who are eligible. Parents can also pay privately. The child-to-staff ratio is three to one. Raji House is licensed by the Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division, #411408919. All staff are trained in first aid and CPR.
