It’s official! Saturday, May 30, 2020 is the date of the next Devil’s Slide Events for PARCA. Whether you choose to Ride, Run or Volunteer please join us in 2020 and you can say, “The devil made me do it!”

Devil’s Slide Ride Event 2019

Saturday, June 8, 2019 marked the 7th annual Devil’s Slide event fundraiser for PARCA. The weather could not have been more perfect with clear skies & temperatures in the low 70s. Boasting some of the largest participant numbers in Devil’s Slide Event history, there were nearly 300 riders participating across all three cycling events and more than 200 participants over all four trail run events. We applaud those who supported PARCA by participating in these fun and challenging events.

Five time Devil’s Slide Ride participant Stanley Tsang skillfully captured the “Century from Hell” ride which participants agree is one of the toughest, challenging and beautiful century rides. Be sure to check out photo highlights from the Devil’s Slide Ride, Run, & Walk events.

The success of this year’s event was made possible through efforts of the Devil’s Slide Event volunteer crew. Made up of long-time PARCA supporters, staff, board members and clients, their loyalty, hard work and enthusiasm were key in creating an enjoyable experience for all who participated. PARCA client volunteers made the event memorable by playing host to Ride participants at the aid stations and cheering on the Ride and Run participants at the Pacifica Community Center.

Many thanks go out to all of our event sponsors and contributors, among them, County Consumer Plumbing, Sports Basement and Hammer Nutrition. Food for the aid stations and the post event luncheon was provided in part by Salada Beach Café in Pacifica, Roxie’s Deli in San Francisco and Mazzetti’s Bakery who donated the most fun and delicious cakes.
