PARCA LIBRE
On Wednesday, May 18th 2016, the PARCA Auxiliary held their 28th annual fundraising Luncheon and Fashion Show, “PARCA Libre: An Afternoon in Old Havana.” The event was a colorful and festive celebration of PARCA’s clients, services and programs, as well a day to showcase the strength of our community. The event raised a record-shattering $255,000 for PARCA and exceeded our Fund-a-Need goal by 43%! The renovations will begin on Alameda and Cedar houses and PARCA’s clients will benefit from additional work and personal decorative touches to their homes.

JAPANESE GARDEN PARTY
On Wednesday, May 13th, 2015, the PARCA Auxiliary held it’s 27th Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show, a “Japanese Garden Party.” The event, attended by over 300 guests, raised $180,000 for the programs and services of PARCA Organization. The 2015 luncheon was featured in Red Carpet Bay Area, Gentry Magazine and the Mercury News, with pre-event coverage by Gentry Magazine, California Home + Design, and The Daily Journal. The Fund-A-Need Campaign raised money to take PARCA clients and support staff on enrichment field trips, including a surprise trip to Disneyland!
ESCAPE TO THE HAMPTONS
On Wednesday, May 14th, 2014, the PARCA Auxiliary held their 26th annual Luncheon and Fashion Show, “Escape to the Hamptons.” The event raised over $200,000 for PARCA Organization. See photo highlights in Gentry Magazine and also at Red Carpet Bay Area. The 2014 Fund-A-Need Campaign raised funds for Recreation Coordinators to oversee the various recreational programs at Page Mill and Horizons assisted living residences for adults with disabilities and for supplementing help at REACH Summer Program, which provides daily activities and field trips for children. These programs give PARCA clients – young and old – an opportunity to get exercise, embrace their creativity and express themselves in the company of their peers.
THE ROARING 25TH GALA
PARCA Auxiliary announced its Roaring 25th Gala and auction raised $230 thousand to support the work of the PARCA Organization. Over 450 guests attended the milestone event, held May 18, 2013 at the esteemed Carolands Chateau in Hillsborough, California. The evening event was inspired by The Great Gatsby and featured a live auction, Jazz Age music and speakeasy cocktails. PG&E was a lead sponsor of the event. The Fund-A-Need Campaign raised funds to support the heart of the organization, our talented and dedicated staff.
LUNCHEON IN THE SERENGETI
Over $150,000 was raised to support PARCA at the “Luncheon in the Serengeti,” held May 16, 2012, at a private Hillsborough estate. At the 24th annual event guests were entertained by African dancers and musicians, and viewed exotic creatures indigenous to Africa from the San Francisco Zoo. The Fund-A-Need campaign raised money for a much needed new van to transport PARCA clients. The event was featured in Gentry Magazine and Red Carpet Bay Area.
