REACH (Recreational Experiences for All Children) is a unique, inclusive and integrated child care program for children with and without developmental disabilities. It offers recreational and educational opportunities in a safe and dependable environment where children learn to embrace diversity. At REACH, children enjoy the following activities:

- Science projects
- Cooking
- Music
- Arts & crafts
- Games
- Sports
- Multicultural activities

The REACH program is located at John Muir Elementary School, 130 Cambridge Ln., San Bruno.

A summer program is offered June through August with daily activities and field trips. REACH accommodates 31 children from four years nine months to 13 years old. A limited number of subsidized child care slots are available for families who meet California Department of Education income criteria. Parents and caregivers can also pay privately. The child-to-staff ratio is eight to one, and can be as low as three to one, depending on the child’s needs.
REACH is licensed by the Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division, #414003043. All staff are trained in first aid and CPR. For more information on schedules, activities and fees, contact Cecilia Hinkston, REACH Manager, (650) 871-8402.
