A Recreation Coordinator is needed to run the recreation program at Parca’s Horizons, serving adults with developmental disabilities. Duties include planning, scheduling, coordinating, and supervising the recreation program, events and activities. Candidate should be outgoing and able to motivate clients to participate. Must have Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in special education, social work, rehabilitation counseling, or related field, a minimum of one year of experience working with developmentally disabled or behaviorally disordered individuals, preferably in a residential or independent living situation, First Aid and CPR certified, have the ability to lift up to 25 lbs., have a valid California driver’s license and a safe driving record. Hours needed: Wed., Thurs., Fri 5:00PM to 8:00PM.
